The City of Hoschton will hold a family-friendly holiday extravaganza at the Train Depot on Saturday, Dec. 14, that will include a tree lighting ceremony, Christmas carols, a cookie decorating contest and a free movie (The Polar Express) — all to benefit the American Cancer Society and the Braselton-Hoschton Relay for Life.
The event is free. Donations will be accepted. Commemorative ornaments will be sold to benefit the Relay as well as hot cocoa and s’mores for donations.
The tree lighting event will honor loved ones near and far who are currently battling or have lost their fight against cancer.
Festivities begin at 6 p.m.
